We carefully select healing herbal ingredients, powerful plant essences and energy-charged gemstones. These elements are blended with positive intent, to holistically restore your entire self, not just your skin.

Corporate Philosophy

Essencetree Holistic Life, LLC was founded on the premise that nature provides us with an ample supply of ingredients that heal, soothe, rejuvenate and beautify. From that belief stems our “corporate” philosophy: The natural universe is our most powerful healer. As such, our creations cultivate bliss, health and alignment using nourishing fruit and nut butters, nutrient rich plant oils and healing essential oils and herbs.

What We Do

Located on a farm in Cairo, Tennessee, Essencetree Holistic Life (Essencetree) offers handcrafted products for body, life and spirit. Run by wife and husband, Charmaine and Kenneth West, all of Essencetree's products begin from a space of love and healing.

Essencetree proudly uses the finest natural ingredients: nourishing vegetable butters, nutrient-rich plant oils, healing essential oils, organic herbs, antioxidants, mineral salts, raw sugars and natural gemstones. Our product offerings include soothing body butters, natural bar soaps, healing body oils, exfoliating scrubs and herbal bath salts. Each creation serves as a natural remedy that cultivates beautiful skin, total body health and bliss.

About our “Medicine Woman”

Charmaine Gibbs-West is the founder of Essencetree Holistic Life. An advocate and student of natural healing therapies and self-described "medicine woman in training", she firmly believes that the natural universe is our most powerful healer. As such, she has created an assortment of products that incorporates this philosophy. Since 2003, she has blended therapeutic botanicals to create beautiful skin and sacred experiences unmatched by other products.

Beautifully in tune – Body, Spirit, Life

In the wake of September 11th, I left New York and my job at an investment bank in search of peace and safety. I discovered Essencetree and a beautiful life on a farm in Tennessee. A native of Philadelphia, I feel grounded in the South, which has blessed me with spiritual insight and restored my creativity. Essencetree began as a hobby. After coming home from work, I would make products till the wee hours of the morning. I then gave them away as all-occasion gifts for family and friends. After repeated requests for more and offers to buy products from me, I saw that my love could become a business.

Essencetree fulfills my desire for a purposeful, aligned life. Studying the physical and spiritual/emotional benefits of essential oils, herbs and gemstones has allowed me to bridge the gap between “this oil smells good” and “this oil will help me to center myself”. A “junkie” of skin care products, I have extensively used both natural and conventional products. I sincerely believe that Essencetree is the first line that can boast full holistic application.
